Public Information

In an effort to conserve natural resources, the Western Virginia Workforce Development Board publishes the majority of its public information on this website. This repository provides detailed information on federal, state and local policies; resources for individuals, businesses, board members and partners; and links to other interesting online materials. Board and committee members will find meeting agenda, materials and minutes, including an archive of previous materials.

The Western Virginia Workforce Development Board has established a Sunshine Policy, in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, to ensure open access by all parties to its operations and activities. Meeting notices are posted on the Board's website and the annual meeting is advertised in local media as required under the Workforce Investment Act and applicable federal and state policy. Minutes of board meetings and actions are also published on the website.

For more information please see WVWDB Policy 03-101. Freedom of information  requests should be made in writing to the Board administrative office at 108 N. Jefferson Street, Suite 509, Roanoke, VA 24016.
